Sales Account Executive (Distribution Sector)
Overview: Our client is a well-established company specializing in providing a range of products to clients across Barbados and the Caribbean region. Due to growth, they seeking to fill the vacant position of Accounts Executives based within the Sales & Marketing department in Barbados.
Job Summary: Servicing customer accounts and proactively exploring opportunities for growth and profitability. Acts as a Brand Ambassador for the company at all times and supports all Marketing strategies implemented. Supports Card Services in the administration of cards. Reviews monthly credit reports to ensure customers adhere to credit terms and follow up where necessary.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manages customer base and develops and maintains the customer pipeline to identify opportunities for market growth and new business with an emphasis on bulk customers. Target large customers such as power plants and Restaurants to increase market share.
• Monitors sales and evaluates local market conditions. Reviews the monthly performance results of all sectors and performs analyses to correct below plan variances. Meets and discusses underperformance with large customers and Operations. Keeps abreast of any competitive information and other local news. Works closely with supervisors and Government agencies where there are margin shortfalls.
• Ensure regular collaboration with a call center to stay on top of customer complaints and work with Operations to improve customer service.
• Complies with Credit and Collection guidelines, according to Company policies. Review the credit balances daily, and weekly to ensure that customers are within terms and violators are contacted. Review monthly credit reports and provide feedback on credit.
• Monitors contracts and ensures that renewals are performed in a timely manner working closely with the Contract Administrator to meet deadlines. Work at putting contracts in a place where our equipment is installed.
• Monitor Customers’ Inventory system by performing checks of the system to ensure no stockouts.
Ensure absolutely no stockouts at Retail sites.
• Communicates with Pricing Analyst to verify product prices with any Government decreed changes or other approved changes.
• Review the stock monthly to ensure that sufficient stock in place to avoid stock outs.
• Support Service Ambassador’s training in the network as well as Coordinate customer service training to employees periodically as needed.
• Reviews and Processes Sales invoices for payments.
• Lead and execute Marketing Campaigns.
• Participate in all promotional activities, sponsorships, and donations.
• Report maintenance issues to Operations and follow up to ensure that reported problems are rectified timely and the image and appearance standards are maintained.
• Prepare required monthly reports for products to ensure on-time submission.
• Oversee Card Services - Sales on Customer Accounts.
• Acts as Vacation Relief for Account Executives.
• Acts as a Brand Ambassador for the company at all times and supports all Marketing strategies.
• Performs other related duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications and Experience:
• Degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or related discipline
• Minimum of three year’s experience in a similar Sales and Marketing role
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products
