Group Information Security Manager

The Group Information Security Manager is responsible for planning, implementation, and administration, monitoring, communication, and reporting on all aspects relating to Information Security.

The role requires collaboration with internal and external personnel, teams, and departments to help the company achieve and maintain best practices regarding InfoSec. As the business strives to provide employees and customers with secure solutions, it is up to the Group InfoSec Manager along with their supervisor and colleagues to provide secure administration of technology.

Core Functions and Responsibilities:

• Follow and contribute to improvement of standards and procedures. 
• Collaborate with fellow IT Department members to improve the company’s security posture. 
• Meet regular deadlines for projects and monthly activities. 
• Assist in the design of infrastructure and implementation of new tools. 
• Develop company-wide best practices for IT security. 
• Collaborate with internal and external parties to identify and solve needs.
• Proactively identify and mitigate issues to minimize disruption of business. 
• Identify and implement tools to allow for effective security event management, such as SEIM and / or SOAR.
• Stay abreast of InfoSec news, vulnerabilities, active exploits, and latest solutions. 
• Participate in response to IT issues and client requests, in collaboration with IT team. 
• Work directly with assigned supervisor or designate. 
• Work with internal and external partners to perform tests and uncover network vulnerabilities. 
• Any additional duties as assigned by the Group IT Manager or Senior Director of IT.
