The Public Transport Service Corporation (PTSC), in its drive towards improving and expanding its services, is pleased to invite applications for the following CONTRACT position:

Contract Manager

JOB SUMMARY:

The role of the Contract Manager is to monitor the procurement contract activities with the aim of ensuring that goods, works and services are delivered in a timely manner, at the agreed cost, and in accordance with the specified requirements.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepares Contract Manager Plans for high-value and high-risk projects;
  • Advises the Named Procurement Officer on Contract Administration;
  • Establishes and maintains a Contract Register;
  • Monitors and advises of contract expiration to prompt renewal or retendering;
  • Develops category-specific contract management plans;
  • Manages the contract within the terms identified in the contract management plan as set out in the approved procurement or disposal strategy;
  • Prepare and submit the monthly Project Status Reports to the Named Procurement Officer;
  • Completes close-out reports that are placed on the original procurement or disposal file that also includes an assessment of supplier/contractor’s performance under the key performance indicators identified in the contract plan and as formally agreed with the supplier/contractor, as well as organizational lessons learned from the delivery of the contract;
  • Records details of supplier/contractor performance into relevant information systems; and
  • Performs any other duties as may be assigned by the Manager – Procurement & Logistics and Deputy General Manager – Finance and Accounting

 MINIMUM QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Management or a related field;
  • Level 5 Professional Diploma in Procurement and Supply, CIPS or equivalent procurement certification from an accredited institution;
  • Certification in legal training will be an asset;
  • Minimum five (5) years performing similar functions in a procurement environment including three (3) years in a senior management position in a large, diverse organization;
  • Any combination of work experience and academic qualifications from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieve
