PRINCIPAL PURPOSE OF JOB/ JOB SUMMARY: This position is responsible for receiving, storing, assembling and issuing raw material for production of finished goods.

 

Essiential Duties

  1. To pre weigh and prepare materials as outlined in Dry W.I.P, Filling, and Flavours SOP’s
  2. Receival of all raw material from vendors  according to 8.2.02.01 SOP T&S Material Receival
  3.  Issuing of raw materials to production as per production schedule in a timely manner.
  4.  Raw material stocktaking.
  5. Completing all records pertinent to job function.
  6. Maintaining good houskeeping in work area
  7. Adhering to all food safety guidelines
  8. Any other related duties

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS

  1. Forklift operating skills.

 

  1. Good Customer Service

 

  1. Good Attendance

 

  1. Punctual

 

  1. Accurate

 

  1. Extremely Organized

 

  1. Completes tasks on time

 

  1. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing

 

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT

  • Mininum High School graduate
  • Experience in a similar capacity
  • Warehouse training an asset

 

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • This position requires rotation through 24 hour shifts. 
  • The employee may be required to push and  pull bulk materials, and lift and/or carry up to 120 pounds.
  • Work may routinely require the employee to climb, bend, stoop, kneel, and/or crouch.
  • This position will be held accountable for shortages and variances of stock if left under their purview
  • Long hours, including evenings and weekends are required to meet deadlines.
