Field Sales Representative duties and responsibilities

King Aluminium manufactures  Aluminium Windows/ Doors/ Shower Enclosures/ Fence and Railings/ Storm Shutters/ Decking/ Modular Furnitures.  

Field represntatives  need to be knowledgeable about products and create a rapport with clients quickly to build lasting relationships.

 Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Selling and promoting these products to both existing and potential clients of Hardware and Contractors
  • Performing needs analysis and cost-benefit analysis for the hardware and offering solutions to them.
  • Establishing and maintaining positive business relationships with Hardware for the standard Size products rather than custom made size products.
  • Monitoring competitors’ sales activities in these product category. It means collection of Prices, Product list and Promotional aspect of the competitors and how it will impact the sales to the customer and facilitating the management in formulating the strategies to expand company products to existing and new markets.
  • Cold calling potential clients
  • Coordinating sales efforts with other departments to ensure the delivery are optimally done
  • Supplying the management team with reports on customer needs or interests, potential new products, or services, and competitive activities in written form on weekly basis.
  • Spend 80% of the working time on field.
Necessary Skills
  • Excellent organization skills to present the company products posses proper pricing and abillity to assess what products can sell in the customer location. 
  • Good interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills and closing sales.
  • Ability to overcome objections from potential customers and facilitate in merchandising the product to be easily viewable by end customer.
  • Experience with commissioned sales, field sales, or related fields for minimum of 3 years
  • Self-motivated energy of positivity
  • A valid driver’s licence and workable vehicle
  • Record of achieving quotas and ability to plan ahead the expected sales
  • Ability to solve problems and to deal with a variety of variables with out getting stressed.
  • Ability to work on Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.
