OVERVIEW:

KPMG Jamaica has a delivery center named “Jamaica Extended Support Services (JESS)” operating from Kingston, which is contracted to provide back-office support to its member firm KPMG United States (“the Client”).

JOB SUMMARY:

The Client’s Ethics & Compliance (E&C) Investigations Division manages the Client’s incident response program and oversees the efficient and consistent intake, investigation, and resolution of reports of potentially significant misconduct, including the recommendation of uniform and fair discipline. As a Senior Officer in the E&C Investigations Division team, you will be responsible for supporting the Client’s incident response process, including maintaining the integrity of the case management systems.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Service Delivery

• Entering new matters and other data in the investigation case management systems, including identifying issues under investigation and participants based on hotline reports

• Daily monitoring of case inventory to ensure accurate case management data

• Performing ad hoc reporting from the case management system and reporting tools

• Timely generation, review and submission of routine and ad hoc reports to leadership stakeholders using approved software

• Maintaining controls for matter documentation reviews and the implementation of investigation sanctions

• Assisting in investigations, special projects, and strategic initiatives as needed, including summarizing data and gathering factual information relevant to cases

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of three years of recent experience executing a high-volume of data searching and compliance, monitoring, analysis and reporting activities in a professional services firm, law firm, corporate or similar environment
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university
• High technical proficiency and prior user experience with electronic case management systems, reporting platforms, and similar technologies are highly preferred
• Strong troubleshooting and organizational skills, ability to provide complete and accurate work product on multiple projects simultaneously; must be a self-starter and work with minimal supervision; solid verbal/written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of responsibility and authority
• Proficiency in Adobe and Microsoft Office Suite applications, with advanced Excel skills (e.g., Pivot Tables, VLook Up, Conditional Formatting, Etc.)

SPECIAL CONDITIONS

• Expected to work in a fast-paced environment
• Will be working primarily in a paperless environment and expected to responsibly use information systems for the entire workday to access data or perform activities
• Expected to adhere to all policies for accessing and protecting sensitive and confidential E&C data
• May be required to work extended hours periodically or on public holidays
