The Financial Reporting Analyst assists and supports in the financial close process of JMMB Bank, JMMB Express and JMMB FHC and TT Country consolidation.

Job Summary:
The Financial Reporting Analyst assists and supports in the financial close process of JMMB Bank, JMMB Express and JMMB FHC and TT Country consolidation.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:
 Executes on various aspects of the financial close process for JMMB Bank, JMMB Express and JMMB FHC and TT Country consolidation
 Prepares monthly financial statements arising out of the financial close process ensuring accurate financial reporting of the above entities’ operations
 Prepares on and off balance sheet account reconciliations for the above entities ensuring timely clearance of un-posted transactions and investigation of un-reconciled amounts
 Assists in generation of schedules for the annual statutory audit exercise for the above entities with our external auditors in order to meet regulatory reporting deadlines. Coordinates the various deliverables across functional areas to ensure timely submission
 Maintains the entities’ fixed asset register ensuring regular asset verification and write-off of obsolete items as well as expenditure control to Operating Expenses and Capital Expenditure
 Assists in the calculation of the entities’ statutory payments and ensures timely payment of same
 Perform other related duties as assigned including relief for other team members during instances of leave.

Qualifications (Education & Certification):
 ACCA Level II

Experience:
 At least 3 years Accounting experience in a financial institution.
 Practical experience in preparing financial statements, calculation of monthly, quarterly and annual statutory payments  Good knowledge of audit and accounting procedures

Required Skills and Specialized Techniques:
 Attention to detail
 Excellent analytical ability and organizational skills
 Ability to handle stressful situations, prioritize tasks, work on complex and highly varied documents and respond quickly during peak activities and deadlines
 Proficient in MS Office particularly Excel
