The E-Commerce Assistant will work directly with the E- Commerce team for the management and success of visual product presentation online. An attention to detail is required to ensure that product production specs are represented online enhancing the overall customer shopping experience.

The E-Commerce Assistant will work directly with the E- Commerce team for the management and success of visual product presentation online.  An attention to detail is required to ensure that product production specs are represented online enhancing the overall customer shopping experience. This individual must be a self-starter who can work with minimal supervision.  As the face of our company, this individual must possess a professional, motivated, and positive attitude in every customer interaction.

 

Specific Responsibilities:

 

  • Maintain product information database by enlisting support from various department staff and vendor contacts.
  • Process and publish products and assets to the site, manage timelines and pipelines for all the items on the site
  • Research, request, review and data entry of information necessary to setup new items including:
    • Detailed distributions, attributes, cross-references, features/benefits, documents and images
    • Serve as primary contact for e-store enhancements or bug fixes, working directly with Proforma E-Commerce team to fix errors when necessary
    • Regularly review information database and e-commerce sites for accuracy and completeness, make changes as necessary
    • Work with vendors to keep program costs/quotes up to date
    • Aid in the execution of promotions/marketing campaigns for the e-commerce site
    • Process orders placed through the e-commerce site
    • Monitor consistency of site elements, including visual presentation, category pages, landing pages, and product display pages.

 

Key Objectives For This Role Include:

  • Keep the E-commerce Sites up to date and change products/pricing/other required elements within 24 hours of receiving the change request.
  • Deliver an excellent customer experience at every step of the process.
  • Coordinate information and ensure accuracy to achieve site development targets.
  • Portray a positive and professional image of the company in all written and verbal communications.

 

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 1-2 years of e-commerce experience focused on customer service and order processing
  • Experience with online retail platforms and processes
  • Experience writing customer-facing content relevant and tailored to digital shopping
  • Bachelor of Science Degree from an accredited university
  • Strong computer and Microsoft Office skills
  • Familiarity with products, pricing, and policies
  • Detail Oriented
  • Basic Adobe Photoshop Skills Preferred
  • Prior experience in the print and/or promotional products market(s), preferred
