The Senior Investment Analyst will be working with the Investment Team in duties related to the management of the investment portfolios and several proprietary portfolios

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:

• Identifying and analyzing domestic and USD denominated fixed income securities and making buy/sell/hold recommendations for the Group’s various portfolios.
• Examining the Group's local and international fixed income portfolios and identifying changes in the operating environment, industry, or company operations and performance that could warrant changes to investment recommendations.
• Collecting information through Bloomberg searches, analyzing investment reports and macroeconomic data to generate ideas for investment.
• Researching and preparing daily reports on local and international equities.
• Preparing fixed income proposals and presenting to the Investment Committee.
• Maintaining relationships with local and international brokers, trustees, arrangers and analysts for new deals, pricing, yield curve construction and trade executions in both bonds and equities.
• Liaising with registrars to ensure timely transfer of bonds in the domestic market.
• Representing the Group at bondholder and investor meetings.
• Assisting with monthly valuation of the Group's investment portfolios.
• Preparing monthly credit rating reports.

SECONDARY FUNCTIONS:

• Assist with other duties as and when required 

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

Bachelors in Finance/Economics/Mathematics

CFA designation

Experience

2 years experience in a similar role
