CAN THIS BE YOUR FUTURE ROLE?

Do you have knowledge of preparing forecast and budgeting?

Are you familiar with managing Financial KPI’s and the importance of achieving targets?

Do you have hands on experience in assembling and summarizing data on financial status and risks?

Are you competent with spreadsheets, and financial software applications such as SAP?


ROLE SUMMARY

Principal Accountabilities include:

  • Co-ordinate and manage the Administration of the Accounts portfolio, supporting the various functions with forecasted projections to aid in the Company’s decision making.
  • Co-ordinate the Company’s CASH planning process by working closely with the Area Planning team to produce forecast, ensuring that information provided is timely and accurate and aligned with the strategic and operational goals of the Company.
  • Co-ordinate and manage Customer Management in SAP which includes creation and routine maintenance, module closure and reporting.
  • Analyze, monitor and co-ordinate the general accounting functions for fixed assets, cross-charged management, Intercompany transactions, treasury, and taxation.
  • Prepare special reports, sensitivities, and analysis to aid management decision making and ensure that the financial implications of decisions are considered.
  • Support the Finance Manager by preparing a monthly management financial reporting package with clear explanations and in-depth analyses.  Key issues are identified and communicated.
  • Prepare, distribute and conduct monthly review meetings with functional managers with a view to aid in the overall understanding of key business drivers to influence improvements in achievement of targets.
  • Manage & reconcile cash float used for out-of-pocket costs.

  • Meeting the reporting requirements

 

Experience Required

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar position
  • Experience in FMCG will be considered an asset.

Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required

  • Sound understanding of management/financial accounting.
  • Excellent Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and oral) skills

Education / Qualifications / Certifications Required

  • University degree in a related field and completed foundation or Completed CAT
  • Advanced Computer skills (Microsoft Office).
