SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading the GKMS Project Office in meeting overall project/business goals.
  • Build the core GKMS Project team through a combination of internal team members and external hires.
  • Provide Project Management Leadership to cross-functional teams engaged in the implementation of (transformational and business development) diverse company-wide projects.
  • Champion buy-in and support for project objectives and in overcoming barriers to project success. · Identify the required project resources essential for project success, including but not limited to, team members, financing, workspace, and equipment.
  • Full accountability for meeting the overall objectives, including goals of project delivery timeframes, and budgetary constraints for the portfolio of GKMS projects.
  • Manage key projects within the GKMS portfolio.
  • Develop the GKMS’ Project Management Office based on changes in the company’s vision and overall strategy, and in line with the Financial Group.
  • Assist in the development of procedures and standards for the operation of the Group Project Management Office.
  • Assist in the ongoing development and improvement of the Group Project Office, including but not limited to the acquisition or improvement of the necessary templates and tools for the efficient operation of the PMO, including project reporting systems, issue, and risk documentation.

Qualifications & Competencies

  • Post Graduate Degree in Business Administrative, Information Technology or related area
  • Project Management Certification
  • Change Management and Process Management knowledge and practices
  • Knowledge and practice of Microsoft Azure
  • A minimum of six (6) years' experience as a Project Manager at a senior level
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Projects and Microsoft Office
  • Agile and Scrum knowledge, practice, and certification
  • Use of best practice project management collaboration tools such as Jira or Asana
  • Proven track record at successfully delivering of multiple projects
  • Well-organized and self-directed leader
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Solid working knowledge of current Internet Technologies
