Laboratory Analyst

The Laboratory Analyst is responsible for assisting the Production Manager in performing the analyses that are required daily.

• Analyse molasses samples before setting fermenters (tank in use and receivables).
• Analyse cultures at set and every two (2) hours thereafter.
• Analyse fermenters at set, final feed and every four (4) hours after final feed.
• Analyse water samples every four (4) hours.
• Analyse distillation system as requested – generally Column Still on the odd hour and Pots Stills per discharge.
• Provide assistance to the Laboratory Supervisor and the Culture Attendants as required.
• Accurately records all data and results in specified formats.
• Any other duties assigned by Supervisor.
