Overview:
As a Summer Intern at Sygnus Capital Limited (SCL),you will be introduced you to the fascinating world of Alternative Investments.
You will have the opportunity to apply your knowledge and make an impact while gaining practical exposure through rotations in Investment Banking, Investment Management, Wealth Management, Real Estate and Project Finance and Private Equity and Mergers and Acquisitions Units.
This six-week program is designed to give you an exceptional foundation that will prepare you for your career in Alternative Investments.
You'll make an impact by:
- Aiding in developing and updating various types of financial models to support our Alternative Investments portfolios.
- Participating in real investment transactions and contributing to deal execution.
- Assisting in performing due diligence, research, analysis, and documentation of live transactions.
- Crafting captivating presentations for our investment committee and clients.
- Conducting market research, identifying emerging trends, and evaluating investment opportunities.
- Developing innovative and creative ways to solve complex, real-world business challenges.
- Learning how we customize cutting edge solutions for our partners.
- Building your professional network with mentors, senior executives and others.
- Collaborating on special projects as assigned.
Does this sound like you?
- Pursuing your undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Banking and Finance, Economics, and Actuarial Science.
- FMVA certificate and CFA candidate is an asset.
- Eager to advance your knowledge, abilities, and expertise in the field of alternative investments while thriving under pressure.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative work environment.
- Demonstrated interest in Investment Banking, Investment Management and/or Private Equity and Mergers and Acquisitions
- Proven track record of outstanding achievement in academic, leadership and extracurricular activities.
- Possess strong quantitative skills focused on financial analysis, accounting, and financial theory.
