MARKETING SPECIALIST
A. General Accountability
The Marketing Specialist is a professional responsible for developing, implementing, and managing marketing campaigns and strategies to promote a product, service, or brand. He/she works closely with the marketing team and other stakeholders to create effective marketing plans and initiatives that align with the overall business objectives.
B. Principal Accountabilities
- Marketing Strategy Development: Collaborate with the marketing team to create comprehensive marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and sales growth. Conduct market research to identify target audiences, market trends, and competitive landscape.
- Campaign Planning and Execution: Develop and execute marketing campaigns across various channels, such as digital advertising, social media, email marketing, content marketing, and traditional media. Coordinate the creation of marketing materials, including copywriting, design, and multimedia assets.
- Digital Marketing Management: Manage digital marketing initiatives, including website optimization, search engine optimization (SEO), pay-per-click (PPC) advertising, social media marketing, and online content creation. Monitor campaign performance, analyze data, and make data-driven decisions to optimize marketing efforts.
- Brand Management: Maintain brand consistency and ensure brand guidelines are followed across all marketing materials and channels. Develop and implement brand messaging and positioning strategies to effectively communicate the unique value proposition to the target audience.
- Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market opportunities, consumer insights, and industry trends. Use market data and analytics tools to assess campaign performance, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and generate reports for management.
- Relationship Management: Collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, and agencies to execute marketing initiatives. Manage relationships with media partners, influencers, and other key stakeholders to enhance brand visibility and reach.
- Content Development: Create compelling marketing content, including blog posts, articles, whitepapers, case studies, videos, and infographics. Ensure content is engaging, relevant, and aligns with the brand voice and target audience.
- Marketing Analytics: Monitor and analyze marketing metrics and campaign results to measure the effectiveness of marketing efforts. Use data-driven insights to optimize campaigns, identify areas for improvement, and make recommendations for future marketing initiatives.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage marketing budgets, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and efficiently. Monitor expenditures and track ROI to demonstrate the impact of marketing activities.
- Stay Current with Industry Trends: Keep up-to-date with the latest marketing trends, tools, and best practices. Attend industry events, conferences, and training sessions to expand knowledge and skills in marketing.
C. Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Academic/Technical Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience
- At least two (2) years’ proven work experience in marketing or a similar role.
