POSITION PROFILE

The Commercial Manager is responsible for ensuring the profitable sales and distribution of the company’s goods to external customers on a timely basis and to their specifications. This role also includes the public image and market optimization of the company and its SKU’s.  The commercial manager is also required to be effective and efficient with the management of internal stakeholders and the subsidiary’s assets and resources.

• Achievement of Sales Targets, Revenue Generation, Profit + Loss
• Marketing and Trade Execution
• Customer Management, Collections and Route Development
• Staff Management, Development, Coaching and Mentorship
• Improve branding
• Market research/penetration/share/positioning and product awareness
• Efficiently and effectively manage sales
• Marketing, execution, and distribution strategies of the company’s full range of products to every type of customer
• Continuously develop and optimize routes, new business/customer/client accounts

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Degree in Marketing, Management, or any related discipline.
• Advanced computer proficiency (Excel, PPT, Supply Chain Software)
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in FMCG sales & marketing environment
• Minimum of 5 years’ related strategic experience in a Supervisory/ Managerial capacity, with P+L responsibility.
