Collective Solution (located in Sandy Bay, Hanover) seeks a resilient, knowledgeable, proactive and flexible Recruiter to join the team.

Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, the incumbent will play an instrumental role in Collective Solution’s recruitment & selection initiatives. You will be expected to contribute to staff / team morale by being adaptable and effectively manage change while maintaining a positive attitude.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Daily objectives will include successfully executing all stages in the recruitment process through the following:

  • Assist in the designing and implementing overall recruitment strategy
  • Perform job and task analysis to document job requirement and objectives
  • Partnering with the Human Resource Manager and Hiring Managers to maintain a good understanding of talent acquisition needs and overall strategic direction of business groups
  • Sourcing candidates using a variety of creative methods ranging from (but not limited to); establishing relationships with various educational, vocational institutions and agencies, social media channels and building and maintaining a professional network within the western region as well as via career websites
  • Develop creative and engaging ways to attract and build relationships with candidates, educating them on the culture and opportunities existing within the company and providing exceptional candidate experience daily
  • Assist the team with sourcing active and passive candidates using a variety of creative methods / channels including (but not limited to) professional network websites, social websites, industry and personal networking, community engagement activities and organizations
  • Promote continuous exceptional candidate experience by; engaging in-house candidates daily through; display of company culture, providing excellent customer service, providing expert information on company’s operations and ensuring candidates are assisted in a timely and professional manner
  • Monitoring the company’s Application Tracking System and completing daily screening of candidates for open positions
  • Scheduling suitably qualified candidates for in house interview processing and tracking their (candidate) progress
  • Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods
  • Assessing candidate’s relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitude
  • Consulting with the Human Resources Manager on interviewing skills and best recruiting practices
  • Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relations during the Recruitment Process
  • Promote Company’s reputation as ‘best place to work’
  • Additional duties assigned as required

 

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • BSc. in Business Management, Marketing, Human Resources or related field
  • Minimum 2-4-year recruiting, HR experience (or any position with exposure to conducting interviews) in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated experience successfully handling large staffing projects (an asset)
  • Marketing and Branding experience an asset
  • Demonstrate market intelligence of both industry and organization
  • Ability to understand business and strategies to recommend changes and efficiencies
  • Knowledge of local Labour Laws an asset
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Publisher) and Applicant Tracking Systems
  • Ability to develop strong business relationships and manage expectations
  • Staffing management and planning experience
  • Exhibit diplomacy and tact while executing daily duties
  • Ability to learn and quickly apply knowledge
  • Critical thinking and attention to detail
  • Good judgment and efficient time management skills
  • Clear and demonstrated understanding of teamwork
  • Customer service orientation with exceptional communication skills
