Job Summary

We are seeking CREDIT OFFICERS required to work in a dynamic micro-financing institution NEW ERA FINANCE LTD with corporate office situated in KINGSTON. Position is open in MONTEGO BAY, OCHO RIOS, MAY PEN, MANDEVILLE, PORT ANTONIO, KINGSTON, SAVANNA-LA-MAR, SANTA CRUZ, BROWNS TOWN, LINSTEAD & SPANISH TOWN.

Ideal candidates will be required to perform the following:

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Screen of clients
2. Appraising credit worthiness
3. Conduct collateral valuation
4. Computerized preparation of loan documents
5. Carrying out debt collection among other tasks.
6. Possess the minimum qualifications outlined below:

Candidates should possess the minimum qualifications outlined below:

 Qualifications and skills

•        Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounts, Marketing or Banking

•        Three (3) years’ related experience

•        Excellent oral and written communication skills

•        Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools

•        Ability to work on own initiative

•        Professional values and attitudes suitable for a financial institution

•        Assertive and persevering attitude
