Account Payables

Responsibilities:

  • Assume major responsibility for all insurers accounts payable while enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of all connected tasks.
  • Create monthly accounts payable reports for insurance companies.
  • Respond to enquiries from insurers about balances and settle anomalies.
  • Process customer refunds and credit transfer requests.
  • Collaborate with underwriting teams to handle day-to-day accounting challenges.
  • Assists the accounting staff with GL transactions.
  • Cross-trained in accounting functions to assist in covering vacations or other team absences.
  • Assist with reconciliation and receivables on occasion.
  • Provide relief support within the Finance department as needed by management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Business Administration OR ACCA Level II OR equivalent.
  • 1+ years of experience in general insurance accounts payable, including notable achievements.
  • Excel proficiency
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills, as well as immaculate attention to detail
  • Excellent relationship-building abilities, including across internal and external teams.
