JOB TITLE: Sales Analyst Job Description

 

Job Summary

 

We are seeking an experienced Sales Analyst to help us increase the effectiveness of our sales operations. In this role, you will collect and examine company data, fill dashboards and compare sales productivity with goals and help determine ways to improve sales. On a regular basis, you will also collaborate with sales managers to monitor performance of team members towards established targets. We will expect our Sales Analyst to present weekly reports to the sales team and management based on their analysis.

 

General Responsibilities:

  • Compile and analyze data over time to forecast sales trends (units, #)
  • Identify Sale patterns
  • Communicate with management team regularly
  • Present weekly reports to the sales department and managers
  • Guide meetings with findings
  • Prepare accurate reports using data from internal and external sources
  • Evaluate third-party data to determine best practices for company success
  • Present actionable information and insights to team members and management
  • Gather and analyze data in order to understand problems and address them proactively
  • Collaborate with team members and members of other departments

  • Strong mathematical skills
