Multimedia/ Audio Visual Technician 

We are excited to announce a new opportunity to join our team as a Multimedia/ Audio Visual Technician.

Education: I.T. degree or Certificate from reputable institution

Requisite Skill/Experience:

- At least 3 years experience setting up and successfully executing Audio Visual Events 

- General working knowledge of working with video cameras, switchers, PA systems and Lighting

- Must have IT knowledge

- Strong Organisation & Communication skills

- Valid Drivers License 

- Works well in a team

Roles/ Responsibilities:

- Install and operating A/V equipment (video switchers, cameras, encoders, LED Screens, switchers, audio mixers, speakers) for events

- Collaborate with other technical and creative staff, such as directors, producers and stage managers, to ensure the successful execution of the A/V design

- Troubleshooting technical issues and making necessary repairs to equipment

- Setting up and breaking down equipment before and after events

- Interacting with clients to understand their needs and requirements for events

- Attend Site Visits

- Create packing lists for jobs

- Ensuring that equipment is stored in an orderly fashion, cleaned and transported safely

- Staying current with industry advancements and incorporating new technologies into your workflow

- Collaborating with event coordinators, producers and other members of the production team
