LOGISTICS OFFICER

Our Client a manufacturing company located in Kingston Jamaica is seeking a temporary Logistics Officer:

Job Description:

• Maintenance and analysis of production and inventory data and ensure integrity and accuracy of the information management system.
• Perform cost analysis of the supply chain.
• Reconciliation of production and inventory variances.
• Assist in fleet and haulage management.  
• Assist Logistics Manager in co-ordination of the supply chain and monitoring of stock levels to achieve performance targets within tight deadlines.
• Assist in inventory stock counting.  
• Report on production and logistics operations on a timely basis  
• Ensure adherence to the company's policies and procedures as it relates to inventory control.

Qualifications and Experience:

• First Degree in Business or related discipline
• At least five (5) years' experience in production and logistics management.
• Proficiency in Quickbooks and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent leadership, communication and interactive skills.
• Positive work ethic and team oriented.
• Strong organisation and coordination skills.
• A quick thinker with an analytical mind
