Job Summary:
Responsible for achieving the Annual Sales Target by implementing retention and growth sales strategies in order to satisfy and exceed customer needs.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Liaise with local and foreign customers to secure orders and projection plans by obtaining an official Purchase Order or a signed Pro-forma along with artwork and job specification.
• Secure or renew service level agreements with particular customers according to conditions set up on contracts or other agreement documents to ensure that proper communication and customer satisfaction is achieved.
• Prepare quotations and submit to customers for approval.
• Gather, verify and submit to Digital Operations and Pre-Press Department Specification Sheet, Pre-Press Requisition Form and reference to specifications (Job Ticket or Job Bag – artwork) in order to initiate the production activities.
• Receive and review final artwork from Pre-Press Department. When adjustments are required submit adjustments to the customer for approval to be forward to Screen Print Production Department to initiate the production activities.
• Follow up outstanding orders and non-conformances ensuring delivery dates and corrective actions are taken in accordance with internal procedures.
• Build account relationship and establish close partnership with customers by understanding their requests and keeping abreast of their changing issues in order to be able to fully satisfy their needs.
• Prepare and update documents and reports such as Local and Foreign Trip Report, Foreign Expense Report, Foreign Travel Plan as well as others internally required.
• Maintain communication with other relevant Departments to ensure targets and goals are achieved in accordance with plans.
• Attend to incoming visitors and conduct plant tours for customers providing a better understanding of organization’s processes, technology and products, aiming to increase sales rate.
• Perform duties with adherence to the Company’s Safety and Quality procedures and practices.
• Ensure that good housekeeping practices are maintained at all times.
• Any other related duties as assigned by management.
Job Specification:
Qualifications:
• First degree in Marketing/ Social Sciences/Business Management/Mass Communication or a related field.
• Five (5) CXC or GCE O’ Level subjects including Mathematics and English Language. (Grades I or II or equivalent).
Experience:
• Three (3) years experience in a customer related industry, preferably in a large consumable or multinational company.
