Reporting to the Head of Global Sourcing & Manufacturing, the successful candidate will guide the operations of the GK Foods Supply Chain Unit providing strategic leadership, management, and direction within the GK Foods global operations.

 WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?

• Overall strategic plan for Supply Chain Management
• Implementation of action plan(s) for meeting targeted key performance indicators by the distribution function
• Developing and monitoring cost reduction and efficiency improvement initiatives throughout GK Foods
• Facilitating the transfer of technical know-how between locations across GK Foods
• Optimizing the use of information technology on Supply Chain deliverables
• Leading and managing a dynamic and professional team of supply chain professionals

WHAT IS REQUIRED FOR THE JOB?

• Master’s degree in business or related field
• At least five years’ experience at a senior management level, preferably in Manufacturing and/or Supply Chain
• Professional Certification in Supply Chain Management is desirable
• Proficiency in the use of computer and software applications for research, data gathering, statistical analysis, report preparation, presentation, and communication
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Project Management - will have demonstrated the ability to push projects over the finish line with sound planning and persistent execution; understanding how to align resources, seeking the input of key constituents, and managing others to achieve desired results.
• Financial Analysis Acumen
• Excellent leader and communicator 
• Strong persuasive and negotiating skills
• Domestic and international traveling required
