Technical Support Specialist

A day in the life of a Technical Customer Engagement Specialist at STARTEK includes:

  • Answering telephone calls and email correspondence from customers.

  • Operating a computer utilizing online guidelines to respond to customer inquiries.

  • Informing customers about services available and assessing customer needs.

  • Resolving issues on the first call or contact whenever possible without transferring the customer.

  • Able to work any 8hr shift between 7am- 7pm with Saturday and Sunday availability

This role might be for you if:

  • You are Tech Savvy (Must be).

  • You have CXC/ City and Guilds or its equivalent subjects (inclusive of Mathematics and English). Information Technology would be an asset.

  • You have at least three months of previous customer service experience. Technical experience would be an asset.

  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • You are comfortable working on a computer while simultaneously talking on the phone.

  • You are a self-starter, are motivated, and have a passion for helping customers.

  • The ability to multitask
