Field Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical and mechanical services to customers for support during field visits
• Tie workflow to a predefined schedule
• Provide timely and detailed service reports
• Install, configure and calibrate equipment
• Train customers in the safe use of equipment
• Service and maintain equipment on a daily basis
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair equipment as needed
• Liaise with members of the sales team and other technical experts
• Resolve any technical issues that may arise

Qualifications, Skills & Requirements

• Candidate must have at least a Diploma in Electronic/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering and/or other professional/vocational certification
• At least 2 years’ experience in the field
• Valid Driver’s License
• Own and operate a reliable motor vehicle
• Be willing to work flexible hours and travel extensively
• Strong problem solving skills
• Good customer service skills
• Able to understand technical diagrams and manuals
• Good organizational skills and ability to work off own initiative
• Able to work well under pressure
• Able to write routine reports and correspondence
