As the Group Training and Development Coach, you will have primary focus on consistently developing, testing and redeveloping learning and development initiatives that enable the Group to consistently evolve and develop in line with the corporate goals and strategies.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Creation of all new hire, promotions and managerial new hire training plans 24 hours prior to the arrival of the new hire’s arrival at the workplace, with 100% accuracy
2. Oversight of Group Training initiatives and coordination, logging and following up with all training and development initiatives being conducted by relevant brands
3. Development of Corporate Training plans and training schedules (training calendars to include PTE etc) for the Group, to be submitted to the Group Head of HR on a Quarterly basis, with 100% accuracy
4. Management and oversight of the Church’s Chicken PTE (online training portal) system, ensuring that ALL new hires are oriented and have completed their onboarding modules within the first 30 days of them being hired. Ensure that all churchs chicken employees for the group are scheduled for training and complete their training as required and within designated timelines
5. Monitor the Overall Satisfaction scores (using both SMG and Survey Gizmo) of all brands and introduce specialized customer service interventions to assist with deficiencies identified against the scoring received for each brand
6. Development of blended learning solutions by utilizing digital tools to create flexible and innovative training/ learning programmes, geared toward meeting all strategic training objectives set by the Strategic HR plan within designated timelines
7. Drive a culture of continuous professional development (CPD) within the Group
8. Monitor the effectiveness of all training and development initiatives transferred to employees within the group by designing and maintaining reports and feedback (including 360 reviews) to provide to the Group Head of HR on a quarterly basis, with 100% accuracy
9. Conduct quarterly surveys to track professional and personal development, statistics to be presented to the Group Head of HR on a quarterly basis with 100% accuracy
10. Update all employee profiles on the HRIS in place at the organization, ensuring that all training is captured on their user profile
11. Creation of career progression paths based on training and development achievements for the Group
12. Conduct Training Needs Assessments (TNA’s) for the Group, on a biannual basis, reports to be submitted to the Group head of HR
13. Conduct capability assessments for the Group on a bi annual basis, reports to be submitted to the Group head of HR
14. Maintain communication with the Group, ensuring that consistent coaching is provided to those struggling with particular areas within their job duties
15. Any other duty as required by the Group
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
❖ At least five (5) years in a supervisory human resource role, with specific focus on Training and development
❖ Proficient in Human Resource Information Systems (HRP, OrangeHRM, WebHR etc)
❖ Proficient in Digital media and blended learning strategies
❖ Bachelor’s degree in HR or Social Science, or Professional Human Resource Certification required
❖ Five (5) CXC Subjects, math and English are mandatory
❖ Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, specifically relating to Excel, Visio and Powerpoint
