The Systems Analyst will be providing systems support to JTA Supermarkets Limited and associated Group companies.
Reports to: Group Information Systems Manager
Main Responsibilities:
- Systems Analyst tasks including but not limited to the following:
- Maintain LOC Store Management Suite (SMS) software on servers, ensuring proper functioning of SMS.
- Conduct training of users on SMS.
- Import and export data to and from SMS.
- Maintain integration between SMS and other in-house systems such as accounting software.
- Analyse the requirements of end users, ensure alignment between requirements and capabilities of the application, as well as test and integrate applications as required.
- Provide applications support as required.
- Create and maintenance of Power BI dashboards
- Support server, network and desktop hardware, software and applications.
- Perform technology needs analysis.
- Assist in the roll-out of hardware and software to ensure optimal deployment of resources.
- Create and maintenance of internal databases.
- Provide back up support for network, communication, and CCTV systems
Qualifications and Experience:
- BSc. in Computer Science, Business Computing, Management Information Systems, or related discipline
- Certifications in Power BI and Microsoft 365 applications would be an asset
- Working knowledge of LOC Store Management Suite
- At least five (5) years’ experience as an administrator on medium sized network of servers, desk systems and communications devices using current technologies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience conducting in-house training would be an asset
