JOB SUMMARY:
The Manager, Payroll will report to the Chief Financial Officer. The selected candidate will manage the payroll accounting function system-wide; Internationally and Locally, in accordance with accounting standards and the respective jurisdiction’s labour laws. He/she will ensure the management and efficiency of the company’s payroll department including the reconciliation of payroll related GL Accounts and all statutory remittances on a monthly basis. He/ she will ensure the adequacy of all internal controls and that all statutory obligations, including tax liabilities are met in the various all jurisdictions on a timely basis. The selected candidate may from time to time be required to prepare ad-hoc reports for management and other duties as required by management.

You must have a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a Payroll accounting environment with responsibility for the management of the Payroll function in a complex, multinational organization.
You must have attained an ACCA, CIMA, CPA, CMA, CGA or equivalent qualification. You must have a working knowledge of International and Local Tax Laws, National Insurance / Employment Insurance Laws and labour legislation in all jurisdictions. You must also have knowledge and proficiency in the use of ADP or an equivalent Payroll Management system. You must be highly proficient in the use of MS Excel and MS. Word.
You will have a strong customer service orientation; the ability to work independently, to work well under pressure and set priorities; and demonstrate excellent written and oral communication, and analytical skills.
