Our client STEAMHouse Network is inviting suitably qualified and experienced persons to apply for the position of Learning & Operations Coordinator

Position Summary

The Learning & Operations Coordinator at STEAMHouse will play a crucial role in driving the success of the company by overseeing the operational, learning, and sales functions. This position requires the coordination of various programs, managing a team, implementing operational policies, and ensuring smooth service delivery. The Coordinator will work closely with stakeholders to drive growth, enhance operational efficiency, and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
About the Company
STEAMHouse is an edtech company founded by Godiva Golding in 2020. Its mission is to revolutionize learning in the Caribbean through Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) education. Using a project-based learning approach, the company offers a variety of services, including STEAM bootcamps, digital literacy workshops, and hackathons which equip young people with the digital skills necessary for the future of work. The company’s flagship product is the STEAMMaker which provides a foundation for advanced digital skills while allowing participants to develop and showcase their innovative solutions to real-world problems.

Responsibilities
  • Operations Management: Oversee daily operations, streamline processes, and align them with organizational goals
  • Team Management: Manage instructors, hire and train team members, and develop training programs
  • Sales and Marketing: Collaborate on effective strategies, handle inquiries, generate leads, and maintain customer relationships
  • Reporting and Communication: Maintain records, prepare reports, and communicate with stakeholders
  • Continuous Improvement: Develop growth strategies, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes
Key Objectives
  • Programmes: Scale operations, achieve high satisfaction and completion rates, launch new courses
  • Team: Hire and onboard new members, optimize instructor utilization, and maintain low turnover
  • Sales & Partnerships: Meet revenue targets, reduce sales cycle, increase close rate, establish partnerships

Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of operations/project management experience
  • Event coordination, stakeholder management, and team leadership skills
  • Knowledge of learning and development programs and best practices
  • Proficiency in project management and productivity tools, CRM systems, and collaboration software
  • Familiarity with sales analytics, Google Workspace, and learning management systems
  • Strong communication, time management, and adaptability skills
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and travel as needed

Salary & Benefits
  • Gross salary: base compensation + sales incentive plan
