Tastee Limited invites experienced and suitably qualified individuals to join our high-energy, hands-on team as HUMAN RESOURCE ADMINISTRATOR.

JOB SUMMARY

The HR Administrator has shared responsibility for ensuring the efficient and effective administration of HR and ancillary services to the approximately 700 staff members within the Company’s Administration, Production, Retail, Maintenance & Transport divisions, located in several parishes across the island. The incumbent will assist with training and development and benefits administration, including the management of the Company’s health and safety, and pension portfolios.

General Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Assisting with annual and periodic performance reviews
  • Process new and renewal of employment contracts, promotions, transfers, terminations, payroll changes, etc.
  • Management of the Group health insurance plans, including employees’ enrolment and the review and renewals of the plans;
  • Pension administration;
  • Management of the policy and procedures for treating on-the-job injuries and accidents, as well as the related reporting and Employer’s Liability Insurance Claims procedures;
  • Management of the procurement and issuing of staff uniforms and all safety gear;
  • Oversee the receptionist and switchboard functions

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR Management &/or Development, Business Administration, or related discipline
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ working experience in Human Resource Management and Development in a similar capacity
  • In-depth knowledge and related experiences of the administration of HR principles and best practices
  • Working knowledge of Jamaican Labour Laws, including Employment & other IR principles and practices
  • In-depth knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety principles and practices
