The VP will have the responsibility of leading the deployment of new and emerging digital technologies/processes to increase business value, add efficiencies and solve business problems. In addition, the Vice President will also play a key role in continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring an efficient and secure IT environment, and creating operational excellence in IT service delivery. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement a multi-year technology strategy to support critical College initiatives and activities.
- Develop strategies for scaling and supporting the technical infrastructure in academic delivery, student support, end-user computing, collaboration services, and network, telecom, security, and resource requirements of the business.
- Establish, communicate, implement, and maintain IT policies, practices and standards, and ensure user training is maintained.
- Provide strong technical leadership in the design and delivery of core infrastructure services, including enterprise computing services (physical, virtual, and cloud), multi-tier storage, security, and business intelligence/performance analysis to support rigorous fail-over and disaster recovery plans.
- Provide oversight of the day-to-day operations to ensure all systems' reliability, integrity, security, and recoverability, including voice, data, and video infrastructure.
- Provides leadership, coaching and direction to the IT leadership team and staff to ensure their development and growth.
- Stays current in new technologies and platforms; identifies emerging technologies to be assimilated, integrated, and introduced within the College to ensure IT capabilities respond to the needs of the College
- Accountable for the evolution and delivery of digital student and staff experiences, including identifying opportunities to transform solutions and deliver existing services and capabilities, managing external digital consumer experience vendors, and partnering with user design experience (UX) and user interface design (UI) teams.
- Oversee digital innovation, including roadmap development and milestone setting for successful implementation.
- Establish the desired digital working culture and increase awareness via training and practices designed to support that new culture.
- Maintain and govern platforms (data analytics, automation, and change management), keep track and monitor transformation.
Requirements: - 10+ years’ of digitalization experience, 5+ years of Project Management experience and a proven track record in delivering complex projects.
- Recognized doctoral degree in business IT or a computer science related discipline or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Excellent technical credentials in fields relevant to digital modernization (e.g., cloud computing, hybrid computing, cloud migration, cyber, network modernization, end-user services, digital transformation).
