General Services Assistant

 

 We are a small but dynamic, industry-leading Group of Companies specialising in Credit & Risk within the Financial Services Sector

3 Month Contract 

To perform successfully in the job, the incumbent must act with integrity and strictly adhere to all policies, procedures and internal controls when executing the undermentioned duties:

 

  • Prepares a variety of reports for the Credit and Risk Departments on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.
  • Generates invoices.
  • Prepares client Membership Certificates within 48 hours of receipt of sales documents.
  • Prepares and forwards billing information to the relevant Department on behalf of the Supplier for services rendered.
  • Updates New Accounts and dispatch the relevant documentation.
  • Prints Judgment pages and payment listings.
  • Prepares invoices for submission to Accounts Department.
  • Enters and/or processes inquiries as required.
  • Prepares Letters, Non-Indebtedness Letters and other required letters as directed.
  • Assists with client relations and sales including prospecting, responding to client queries, disseminating sales and marketing materials.
  • Provides relief within the Department as or when required.
  • Perform other duties that may be assigned.
Education and Experience 
  • A minimum five [5] GCE O’ Levels [Grade A, B or C] or five [5] CXC/CSEC General Proficiency [Grades I or II] [Mathematics and English compulsory]
  • An Advanced Diploma in Business Administration/Management would be considered an asset
  • Working knowledge of the company’s business profile, products, services and overall industry
  • Sound knowledge of modern office management practices
  • Working knowledge of sales, marketing and advertising principles and techniques
  •  A minimum (3) three years working experience in a similar capacity
  • Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications with particular emphasis on Word, Excel, Power Point & Outlook

 

Experience working within the region would be considered an asset
