The incumbent manages relationships with customers and acts as the customer focal point, from Prospect to close. He/she serves as subject matter expert for specific and other product lines and ensures that agreed upon sales quotas and customer requirements are met.

Job Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and source new business opportunities.
  • Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with customers.
  • Keep abreast of changing market and customer requirements and assists with development of marketing strategies.
  • Assess job/project specifications and make recommendations to customers.
  • Interact with suppliers to obtain pricing, specifications, and follows up on orders and deliveries.
  • Gather market intelligence and monitor competitors’ strategies re: pricing, promotions.
  • Make product demonstrations and routine checks on customers’ equipment, as required.
  • Update customer relevant information and visit reports in CRM.
  • Ensure adherence to all management systems including, ISO 2015:9001 and OSH with an understanding of the company Quality and Environmental policies and procedures.
  • Perform other related job functions.

Education and Experience

  • Associate Degree or Technical Diploma in an engineering field
  • Relevant Sales and Product Training
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ sales experience
  • Possess a strong understanding of basic engineering, materials and manufacturing processes
Requirements

Must own a motor vehicle.

  • Possess and understanding of basic sales skills and techniques.
