To support the Manager HR Operations in managing the day-to-day operations of the HR department, with a focus on efficiency, effectiveness and excellent internal/external customer service, to enable the objectives of the Department to be achieved.

Main Responsibilities

  1. To provide guidance and supervision to the positions reporting to the Senior HR officer and to support the Manager HR Operations in the other areas of HR Management
  1. To ensure that Employee records for staff across the Archdiocese, as well as records of other types of engagement are correctly captured and kept up-to date and that records related to all other areas of HR operations are accurately maintained.
  1. To ensure that Processes for recruitment are in place and are followed to facilitate the required manpower resources to meet the needs of the Archdiocese, and that Employee exit is handled in keeping with the relevant policies and procedures.
  1. To ensure that Employment Contracts, Job descriptions and Performance Reviews are completed for all persons engaged by the Archdiocese, in keeping with relevant policies and procedures.
  1. To perform other related duties that may be assigned, including providing relief in the position of Manager HR Operations as required.

Job Requirements

-        Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Human Resource Management, or related field

-        Technical Skills

  • Computer literate – Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)

-        None-Technical Skills and Abilities

  • Effective Communicator – Excellent oral and written skills

-        Experience

  • At least 5 years supervisory experience of which 3 years should be in Human Resources
  • Experience in the use of HRIS Systems
