Production Shift Coordinator

The Shift Supervisor will monitor the conformance of process and Production Operations, ensuring that at all times the process is efficient, consistent, safe and productive.

To Supervise, and monitor the conformance of process and Production Operations, ensuring that at all times the process is efficient, consistent, safe and productive. To coordinate and ensure that all plants are correctly staffed with the required number of employees to get the scheduled work done ensuring high levels of Quality Production, Efficiency and Safety.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To manage, monitor, and maintain proper house-keeping within all Production areas.
• To work closely with the Tool Room Supervisor, Converting and Assembly/Printing Supervisor, QA supervisor, Production Clerks and the Maintenance Supervisor to ensure all areas of the production operation is covered, monitored and maintained during and after working hours in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures.                                                                                                                   
• To train, mentor and coach current and new production employees and supervisors.                                                                       
• To conduct employee performance reviews as per company policy.                                    
• To be first line of employee related issues, including disciplinary actions and Kronos time keeping respectively.      
• To ensure compliance of the relevant ISO Operating Procedures and Work Instructions at all times
• To schedule and conduct team meetings.
• Ensuring all items produced on your shift where produced efficiently and conforms to all quality standards.
• To ensure that all shift reporting is completed correctly and in a timely manner as per our quality management system (QMS). Example: Daily production sheets.
• The enforcement of all Safety policies and procedures such as ensuring that all employees wear the company provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) where and as required
• To perform any other related jobs or task when required other related duties as assigned
• Assist in monthly/annual stock taking as required.
• Promote safety awareness and the development of a Safety Culture within the company, Conducting Tool-box meetings and timely resolution of HSE findings and actions.
