Pharmaceutical Sales Representative
Roles and Responsibilities
• Scheduling meetings with potential and existing customers, which includes doctors, pharmacists, nurses, and other health care professionals.
• Presenting company products to potential and existing customers and persuading them to make purchases.
• Identifying customers' needs and recommending company products that best fulfill those needs.
• Maintaining solid working relationships with new and existing customers by providing excellent after-sales service.
• Arranging conferences and group events for medical professionals.
• Regularly attending training, company meetings, briefings, and educational workshops.
• Researching competitors’ products, pricing, and market success.
• Promptly submitting purchase orders to the relevant department.
• Preparing sales reports as well as territory analyses and submitting them to management.
• Diligently visits all customers to maximize sales to ensure that monthly sales targets are met.
• Study and develop proper product knowledge and sales techniques as required.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of the company’s products, the company’s processes and promotions guidelines to provide the highest levels of sales support to the customers.
• To continually pursue new business opportunities and follow up in a timely manner
• Closely monitor all market/ competitor activities and provide feedback to Management of this as well as feedback from the customers.
• Know and complete all paperwork and procedures as required to complete the sales process
• Assisting with all promotional activity.
• All of the above to be completed while maintaining a positive attitude and contributing to the group sales activity.
Qualifications and Experience
• A minimum of five (5) CXC O’ Level passes inclusive of Mathematics and English
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, medical office management, or related field is preferred.
• Certified Sales Professional (CSP) certification is advantageous.
• Valid driver's license.
• Proven medical sales experience.
• Sound knowledge of medical terminology
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent organizational and consultative sales skills.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• At least two years prior field sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry preferred
• Must own a fully insured vehicle in good working condition
• Must be a team player

• Ability to work in a faced-paced dynamic environment

• Excellent Penmanship
• Ability to use IPAD, Smart Phone, GPS
Work Location
• Incumbent will visit customers across Trinidad and Tobago on a daily basis as per assigned territory
