The primary purpose of the Talent and Culture Specialist is to support business objectives and employee experience.

JOB PURPOSE

The primary purpose of the Talent and Culture Specialist is to support business objectives and employee experience. The incumbent will focus on value creation, growth, serving customers with complete ownership and accountability and delivering exceptional customer and business results. Tasks will vary between operational activities connected to the recruitment and staffing processes or leading and setting the strategy for specific areas within HR.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Provide professional support in designing and implementing effective human resources programmes and practices focusing primarily on talent and culture development.
  • Responsible for driving talent and culture innovation through the use of cutting-edge technology and processes designed around best practices
  • Support the management of the talent and culture strategy for TFOB (2021) Limited including, recruitment, learning and development, workforce planning, compensation and benefits, staffing and resource planning and talent management.
  • Implement and manage competency-based talent development strategy to meet current and future human capital needs.
  • Function as the primary interface between NCBJ Group Human Resources Department (GHRD) and TFOB (2021) Limited's unit leaders to develop strategies for the effective deployment of human capital to support business imperatives.
  • Create, manage and monitor assessments to evaluate the capabilities required for jobs across the business appropriately.
  • Conduct data integrity assessment, report and correct all Oracle HR data anomalies.
  • Monitor and enhance where necessary TFOB (2021) Limited’s virtual orientation and onboarding programme.
  • Conduct peer audits of the team members to include (promotions, transfers, renewals, new hire contracts, probation confirmation).
  • Supervise and monitor the electronic file maintenance system to account for all records
  • Provide support for engagement initiatives to include execution and reporting in the respective areas.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE 

  • BSc Degree in Management Information Systems, Marketing, Human Resources Management or related field.
  • Minimum four (4) years experience in Human Resource, talent management, professional development and other relevant digital experience managing  employer and employee branding, workforce planning, compensation, benefits, talent acquisition, evolving talent needs and culture development
  • Office Package Management (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Oracle Application
  • Labour laws and Labour Relations and Industrial Disputes Act.
