Job Title:            Inventory Control Associate

Position Description        

Responsible for the timely and accurate maintenance and control of inventory within our system

Essential Functions

• Responsible for processing all inventory movements in system within Barbados – purchase order receipts, inter-warehouse transfers, and stock adjustments, vendor returns and customer returns
• Follow up on discrepancies (shorts or overs) for inventory receipts from purchase orders or from transfers (consolidated containers) in order to ensure accurate close out within the system
• Assist with working in the stockroom, as requested, including picking and packing customer orders, processing restocking lists and ensuring deliveries are recorded accurately.
• Conduct perpetual stock counts as per stock count calendar and reconcile variances against system, perform investigations as required
• Maintain a list of all items under repairs – add new items to list, remove repaired items, make adjustments to items that cannot be repaired
• Prepare and circulate weekly inventory KPI reports – stock losses, out of stocks, aged stock

Requirements        

• Bachelor of Science in Business, or related discipline with a focus on analysis
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel – pivot tables.
• Ability to lift and mobilize medium to large items, up to 150 lb., while utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques
• Ability to work well in teams and to deliver results under pressure
