THE ROLE

We are seeking a resourceful, dynamic and proactive Marketing Manager, based in our Barbados office, to undertake full responsibility for the marketing and profitability of assigned brands within the Wines and/or Spirits Division.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and promote assigned brands to achieve greater market share and profitability
  • Analyse industry trends and develop strategic plans to capitalise on growth opportunities
  • Conceptualise and implement marketing programs within allocated budgets
  • Compile and evaluate in-market data and competitive activities to establish realistic brand goals
  • Inspire and motivate the sales team to ensure the effective execution of programs
  • Manage day-to-day communication with suppliers and customers
  • Provide regular written market updates to management and suppliers

REQUIREMENTS

  • A degree in a business-related field, preferably Marketing or International Business
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in consumer marketing
  • Energetic and self-motivated with effective leadership skills
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Proven analytical skills
  • Fluency in French and/or Spanish preferred
