LANDSCAPE PROJECT MANAGER

The successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing a team working on a design project.  Further duties will involve budgeting, cost projections, consulting with clients, training staff, and adhering to the project's goals.

 Specific Requirements/Duties of the Position Include:

  • Coordinating activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, and directing the work of employees and contractors
  • Evaluating and verifying employee and contractor performance by reviewing completed work assignments and work techniques
  • Identifying staff development and training needs and ensuring that training is provided
  • Supervising the development and preparation of landscape construction plans, specifications, estimates, and other contract documents
  • Overseeing and conducting field inspections as landscape projects progress
  • Administering designs, and monitoring and evaluating project design developments and executing contract amendments as needed
  • Supervising the preparations of design changes and revisions to construction plans;

 

Qualification and Experience:

  • Degree in Landscaping/ Horticulture or related business field preferred;
  • Direct management of multiple landscaping maintenance crew;
  • Basic understanding of budget, forecasting and financial reporting;
  • The ability to lead, communicate, and manage time well;
