AC Hotel is seeking to hire a Hotel AV Technician specializing in the operating and managing of hotel audiovisual equipment, video conferencing, and web-based conferencing equipment, and all digital systems used to operate, maintain and manage.

AV Technician

He/She will be responsible for the setup operation of lighting equipment used in events, microphones, mixers and other sound related equipment. 

Participate in site visits and recces, to provide technical support to the Sales and Marketing team. Maintains a detailed list of hotels equipment and escalates or make recommendations when damages occur.

Also, to verify that all AV equipment needed is in inventory before event. Set-up, break down, operate, and troubleshoot all equipment, devices, and systems. Ensure all equipment is fully operational, repaired and cleaned when necessary. 

Core Functions:

  • Assists in providing technical support, set up and maintenance of AV equipment to the Banqueting department, other associates and curators.
  • Assists in directing users to help setup AV systems or resolve escalated issues.
  • Troubleshoots and maintains all the AV equipments.
  • Immediately notifies the Shift Engineer on any unusual occurrences on any of the electrical lines, panels or controls, and equipments.
  • Assures the cleanliness and organization of electrical rooms, electrical panels, and audio-video control rooms.
  • Ensure that audio-visual equipment is functional, labeled, repaired, and cleaned as needed.
  • Provide support with guest room TV issues when necessary.

 Qualification and Experience Required:

  • Technical Diploma or Degree in IT or any related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of A/V systems & equipment such as projectors, Control Systems and other Audio Video equipment, preferably in a Hospitality environment.
  • Clean Police Record.
