Accurately generate payroll loan receipts, update client's accounts and prepare lodgments for all bank accounts.

Duties and Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to the following:

 

  • Prepares payroll loan receipts by obtaining information using daily bank statements form FCIB, NCB and Sagicor (these must be broken down into principal and interest) and enters information into Sage300. 
  • Enters loan payment from the bank transfer statement into the Loan Management System (LMS)
  • Compiles and files bank statements and cashed cheques
  • Prepares lodgements on a daily basis by recording and totalling amounts into the respective lodgement books.
  • Reviews, verifies and corrects loan found in LMS, after the information has been checked by the relevant team member.
  • Prepares monthly journals.
  • Maintains payroll loan log book.
  • Collects cheque and card payments form walk-in clients
  • Performs any other duties from time to time

 

Job Specifications:

Education and Experience:

  • A Bachelors degree in Accounting or ACCA level 1
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in accounting
  • Proficiency in accounting software,
  • Training and experience in the use of Microsoft Office suite
