Sales Associates - Immediate Start - Airport

We're hiring for our client at the Norman Manley International Airport in Kingston

Our client is a Retail operator at the Norman Manley International Airport in Kingston. On their behalf we are hiring Sales Associate.

A Sales Associate is responsible for maintaining outstanding customer service as per Company standards, generating sales, merchandising and safeguard company assets.

Basic Responsibilities

• Ensure that each customer receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer, maintaining solid product knowledge and all other aspects of customer service.
• Maintain an awareness of all promotions and advertisements
• Assists in floor movement, stock change, merchandising, display maintenance and general housekeeping duties.
• Assists in processing ad replenishing merchandise and monitoring floor stock (FIFO- first in, first out)
• Aids customers in locating merchandise. Communicate customer’s requests to management
• Participate with in-store inventory and regular counts
• Assist other cashiers with bagging, properly using bottle wrappers and prepare sold merchandise for delivery to customers.

GENERAL CASHIER DUTIES:

• Operating cash register, accepting cash, foreign currency and debit/credit cards as forms of payments, input required information onto cash receipts, issue change due to customers
• Establish or identify prices of goods using cash registers or optical price scanners.
• Ensure accuracy between the sale and money collected.
• Display awareness for theft and shrinkage of cash and/or merchandise of the store.  All issues must be brought to the attention of management personnel immediately.
• Any other tasks as assigned by management

REQUIREMENTS:

• 6+ months experience in a retail environment
• 3 CXC subjects 
• Must live within 30 minutes of the airport
