Web Developer

Overview: This role requires a dynamic individual, as a Web Developer, to develop and integrate user interfaces for modern and efficient internet applications. The successful candidate will work as part of a project team guided by web development methodologies to deliver a functional,consistent, and responsive user interface using their experience and skills, while consulting with users to ensure effectiveness of its user experience.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

● Write well documented code for responsive web applications, refining and rewriting

existing code as necessary and communicating with all developers and stakeholders

involved in the project.

● Work closely with other staff, such as project managers, developers, systems analysts,

and users.

● Be involved in the end-user acceptance and testing process to ensure that the product

meets their requirements.

● Where applicable, monitors and assists with software installation; ensures application

operates within established specifications.

● Collaborate with developer team to manage the end-user acceptance and testing

process to ensure that the product meets their requirements.

● Gathers and evaluates user feedback and then modifies software for better usability.

● Determines required system performance standards based on client specifications,

budget, security needs, and other parameters.

● Identifies, troubleshoots, and resolves application issues; recommends and implements

preventive measures to avoid future problems.

● Update assigned tickets with the status of your work, identifying any issues where

additional information is needed as soon as possible.

● Performs other related duties as assigned.

 

 

Desired Skills/Qualifications:

● Strong understanding and 2+ years of experience with HTML5, CSS3 and Typescript.

● 2+ years of experience creating / working on web applications.

● Experience building and/or designing responsive web applications

● Thorough understanding of object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design and

complexity analysis.

● Software development fundamentals; including testing, troubleshooting, and using a

VCS such as Git.

● A strong, demonstrated desire and ability to learn.

Nice to Have:

● Familiar with and/or have experience with Agile development under the SCRUM

methodology.

● Experience and understanding of the Angular, React and NgRx frameworks

● Working knowledge of Cloud Computing, Highly Available architecture, and writing

containerized applications
