Developer Analyst

NCB Jamaica invites suitably qualified applicants to apply to the role of Developer Analyst.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop high quality software code in accordance with established company standards and development guidelines.

• Design of application solutions that fully implement business requirements.

• Assist with the development of detailed technical requirements and implementation instructions for assigned systems and projects.

• Review existing computer systems and make recommendations for enhancements /optimization

• Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

• First Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems

• Key attributes of the application developer / analyst include technical proficiency in specific areas of the current development technologies (MS SQL Server, T-SQL, C#.NET, ASP.NET, Oracle, JavaScript, Java, React-Native)

• Minimum four (4) years overall working experience to include three (3) years in System Analysis and Programming.

• Experience with monitoring systems and automation and continuous integration software

• Experience with Technical Requirements Analysis and Assessment

• Knowledge of IT Risk management and information security
