Installation Technician Job Description

Are you creative, assertive, driven and passionate about acrylic displays and installation? You may just be the person we are looking for to join the local installation team of a prominent international company as an Installer.As an installer, you will be offering strong and full display support to the Business Development and Sales team.

Responsibilities

• Installing and mounting acrylic displays, racks and pop materials according to company guidelines.
• Loading and unloading of racks, acrylic displays and traditional racks for transport.
• Inspect, repair, and/or replace racks as necessary.
• Consulting on the suitability of proposed installation areas.
• Positioning appliances according to stipulated specifications, environmental features, and clients' requests.
• Refitting dislodged implements to restore their placements.
• Tidying installation sites promptly.
• Heeding prevailing building and safety stipulations.

 Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 CXC subjects.
• At least 1 year experience
• NCTVET level 1 qualification in Electrical Installation
• Proven and varied installation experience.
• Capacity to use discretion when examining installation instructions.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Physically fit and ability to do light lifting.
• Able to use power tools (drill) (Essential)
• Ownership of a reliable motor vehicle
