System Analyst

The System Analyst will analyze the organization's current computer systems and business procedures and make recommendations to management to help the organization operate more efficiently and effectively through the use of new or existing information systems.

SYSTEM ANALYST

 PROFILE

The System Analyst will analyze the organization's current computer systems and business procedures and make recommendations to management to help the organization operate more efficiently and effectively through the use of new or existing information systems.

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Analysis and documentation of the operational process flow and data flow of all departments within the organization.
• Elicitation of user and system requirements needed to guide software selection, development and implementation.  
• Translating system requirements into executable project briefs
• Drawing up specific proposals for the modification or replacement of existing information systems.
• Develops training, testing, and security plans to ensure design meets defined business requirements.  Coordinate plans as needed. Provide ongoing training to clients and IT staff
• Plans and implement upgrades and modifications to existing systems to accommodate changing user needs and technology in a dynamic environment.
• Conducts research into new/existing software packages/platforms/systems and make recommendations for implementations.
• Develop Strategic Objectives and Key Performance Indicators to be used in the Performance Monitoring of the various organizational departments.
• Creation and Maintenance of Technical and Non-Technical documentation, all custom developed software solutions including source codes, UML Diagrams, requirements documents, data Mart / Warehouse Documentation, Architectural Design, Test Plans etc.
• Quality Assurance – Monitoring the Integrity and operability of all Information Systems 
• Performs in the role of project manager or project coordinator for small projects. Assures smooth turnover of projects, both at the initiation as well as at the conclusion, to support services within IT as well as in customer departments.
• Design Develop and Maintain the Company’s Balance Scorecard.
• Design and Develop Data Mining Algorithms using SQL Server
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

 Functional/Technical Competencies 

• Excellent knowledge of Business Process Model Notations
• Excellent knowledge of Software Engineering Concepts
• Excellent software documentation skills.
• Excellent knowledge of software design, development, and implementation on a network platform.
• Excellent knowledge of the development, configuration, and maintenance of Client/Server applications.
• Excellent knowledge of the development, configuration, and maintenance of Client/Server applications.
• Excellent Communication Skills.
• Excellent Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Visio and Microsoft Projects.
• Working knowledge of SQL Server Analysis Services.
• Working knowledge of SQL Server Integration Services.
• Working knowledge of SQL Server Reporting Services.
• Working Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint.
• Excellent Knowledge of the Microsoft Solutions Framework.
• Working knowledge of LOC SMS Software Suite. 

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor of Science in Computing & Information Technology

CBAP or Lean Six Sigma Certification

One (1) year of experience in related field.

May be required to work long hours, after hours and on weekends and public holidays when the need arise.
