 Sagicor Group Jamaica Limited is seeking a suitable candidate to join our Shared Services IT team in the capacity of:

 Programmer Analyst - MuleSoft

Produce system designs, coding, technical documentation and technical support.

Enhance, configure and debug existing systems.

Provide technical support for web, desktop or mobile applications.

Location: Kingston

As A Programmer Analyst - MuleSoft, you will:

• Develop clean, scalable and modular applications using MuleSoft and other related tools.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to design software architecture.
• Participate in requirements analysis.
• Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Prepare and analyze functional specification document.
• Prepare and submit Request for Change (RFC) documents.
• Perform any other duties assigned from time to time.

What do you need?

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline from a recognized tertiary institution.
• Minimum of three (3) years' working experience in an IT related discipline.
• Minimum of one (1) year working experience in the financial sector.
• Excellent knowledge programming techniques and concepts.
• Strong knowledge of the Insurance or Financial Services Industry.
• Knowledge of modern development practices, technologies, methodologies and tools.
• Knowledge of design/ architectural patterns.
• Knowledge of key OOP (Object Oriented Programming) concepts.
• Experience working with various relational and other databases.
• Strong knowledge of communication technologies.
• Excellent troubleshooting, problem solving and communication skills.
• Knowledge of Java would be an asset.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS would be an asset.
