PLANT MANAGER

Job Summary:  

The Plant Manager is responsible for all functions in the company’s supply chain (procurement, manufacturing, quality management, equipment maintenance, warehousing, and delivery). The PM must ensure that key performance metrics are achieved and continuously improved such that the company’s goal and objectives are achieved.

Responsibilities:

  1. Consistently demonstrate the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.
  2. Do all things necessary to ensure that the company’s operations are conducted efficiently and safely in pursuit of the company’s goals and objectives.
  3. Achieve all key performance metrics. (A list of all KPIs will be agreed).
  4. Strictly comply with the company’s reporting obligations to Head Office.
  5. Immediately notify the Line Director of present and or emerging risks in any aspects of the company’s operations.
  6. Strictly comply with all company’s procedures.
  7. Make recommendations for improvement.
  8. Properly manage the company’s resources (materials, machinery, and personnel) in pursuit of the company’s goals and objectives.
  9. Must be able to inspire and lead employees at all levels in the company.
  10. The ability to critically analyze situations and quickly formulate plans and actions is crucial to the attainment of high levels of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)

 

PROFESSIONAL SKILLS

Demonstrate a working knowledge of: 

  • Management principles and practices.
  • Quality Management System
  • Laws and regulations which impact the Company and its operations.
  • Updated production management best practices and concepts
  • A critical requirement for this person should be experienced in having worked in an environment with a Quality Management System such as ISO
  • A bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering

 

MAINTENANCE

Demonstrate the ability to: 

  • ensure physical environment is kept clean
  • ensure office security
  • ensure office safety (First aid / Fire safety)
