The Agile Business Lead is responsible for leading and maximizing value delivered by a Tribe, which consists of 10+ agile squads.
Core Functions
• Develops the roadmap for the entire suite of software solutions within the purview of the Tribe that maximizes customer and business value. The roadmap should be aligned to the defined Group and business strategies and developed in collaboration with relevant Executives, scrum teams, agile coaches, Group IT, Risk, Compliance, Marketing and other relevant stakeholders.
• Drives execution against product vision and roadmap to ensure delivery against value, customer, time and budget objectives.
• Focuses on the long term vision of the product, and uses data, market trends and customer pain points to refine the product strategy.
• Manages Tribe level prioritization and sequencing of working software roadmap based on customer and business value, dependencies, enabling features, and feasibility.
• Responsible for tracking P&L, customer experience and customer adoption results against targets and making recommendations and decisions to optimize impact when labs are off target.
• Leads Quarterly Business Reviews in partnership with Heads of Business, Digitization and Transformation Offices to assess quarterly performance and establishes Objectives and Key Results for upcoming quarter.
• Drives removal of impediments/obstacles including technological, policy, process, mindset – that impact optimal delivery of the team.
• Responsible for developing capabilities and optimizing organizational health within the agile labs through coaching, training and development, agile retrospectives etc.
• Ensures Agile teams are adequately resourced with members with right skills and attitudes and are optimally structured to deliver the objectives and key results.
• Liaises with Agile Coaches and Scrum Masters to ensure teams are engaged, empowered, collaborating, and working optimally to deliver results.
Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Banking, Finance, Computer Science, Management Information Systems or any other related discipline.
• Agile Certification – PMI-ACP or ICAgile Certifications, Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Certified Product Owner (CSPO) certification
• Minimum of five (5) years working experience to include at least three (3) years in a managerial and coaching capacity.
• Experience with working on at least three (3) agile projects in a leadership capacity.
• In-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles and competent in at least two (2) Agile Methodologies.
